Titan Traditions

Annual Christmas Pageant

At St. Timothy’s School, time-honored traditions serve as the foundational anchor that connects generations of students, fostering a deep sense of community and shared identity. These enduring customs culminate in major capstone events and program highlights, which celebrate individual growth while honoring the collective milestones of our community. By blending institutional history with personal achievement, these foundational moments ensure that every student’s journey is both uniquely meaningful and permanently woven into the school’s legacy.

Capstone Events and Program Highlights

Pumpkin and Easter Hat Parade

In music class, children delight in learning seasonal songs and performing in beloved traditions like the Pumpkin Parade and the Easter Hat Parade. These festive events highlight both their musical growth and their amazing creative talents as they design and wear their own unique costumes and Easter hats. It’s a wonderful stage for our young Titans to share their confidence, art, and joy throughout the year!

Biggles and Littles

The Biggles and Littles program pairs our 4th-grade students with kindergartners for a wonderful model of early leadership and mentorship. Whether they’re sharing a good book, collaborating on holiday projects, or making fun crafts, this special partnership fosters connection, responsibility, and joy across grade levels.

Freddie's Christmas Shop

It’s the most magical time at St. Timothy’s School as Freddie's Christmas Shop transforms the library into a winter wonderland where students can shop for friends, family, and loved ones. This beloved tradition is a perfect example of our incredible parent volunteers—organized by Friends of STS—who plan, decorate, and run the shop to bring so much festive joy to our children.

Christmas Pageant

As the longest-standing tradition at St. Timothy’s School, the annual Christmas Pageant beautifully kicks off the holiday season for our community. Featuring our first through fourth graders, this heartwarming event brings the story of Jesus’ birth to life through scripture, readings, and joyful song.

Capstone Projects

Capstone projects are a cornerstone of STS tradition designed at key developmental milestones, allowing students to showcase their learning and creativity. Through memorable experiences like the Thanksgiving Float Parade, the Landmark Project, and Biography Night, our students engage in deep research, hands-on design, and public presentation as they reach each new academic benchmark.

Titan Spirit and Friends of STS T-Shirt Days

School pride is always in style at STS, where students celebrate two special spirit days each month. One Friday a month is dedicated to Titan Spirit Day to show off their favorite Titan gear, while another Friday invites students to wear their official Friends of STS T-shirt specially designed for that academic year.
