Posted 04/26/2018 10:45AM

More than 350 current and former parents, grandparents and faculty, as well as many alumni attended our Founders' Day 60th Anniversary Celebration at the Pavilion at the Angus Barn held on April 20, 2018. It was an fun-filled evening of fellowship, good food, and fundraising.

Highlights of the event include remarks made by co-founder Carolyn Hale, who shared with the audience about how St. Timothy's School began. Keynote speaker and father of three St. Timothy's School alumnae Bruce Ham gave a wonderful testimonial about what St. Timothy's has meant to his family. Guests also enjoyed an amusing video encouraging guests to donate in support of the future playground as well as our featured Founders' Day video.

Founders' Day Committee Chairs Cissy Lewis and Kristin Holder, along with STS Director of Development Shayla Bradshaw organized the event, which included a large silent auction. Thank you to the many local businesses who donated over 100 silent auction items in support of this fundraising efforts.

Proceeds from the event will fund the construction of the new Lisa Permar Ham Memorial Playground as part of our new master plan for outdoor spaces.
