Students serving as acolytes during Chapel

We strive to instill Christian principles in a program of academic excellence, and seek to develop each of our students emotionally, intellectually, physically, socially, and spiritually to deal with the complexities of modern life.

Students attend a weekly Chapel service led by the School Chaplain. The service follows the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer. During Lower School Chapel, fourth graders serve as acolytes, flag bearers, and readers. Middle School students serve as acolytes, flag bearers and readers during Middle School Chapel. Parents are invited to attend Chapel services.

A Prayer for St. Timothy’s School*

Almighty God, source of all life and being: Enlighten by your Holy Spirit those who learn and those who teach at St. Timothy’s, to rejoice in your boundless grace.

Lead us to serve each other humbly; inspire us to trust each other fully; and teach us to care for each other and ourselves respectfully as we go about our days.

We give you thanks especially for all who brought St. Timothy’s into being and built it up; sustained it as a community over the years; and continue to uphold it as a place of faith, hope, and love: May your Holy Spirit ever rest upon us.

We ask these things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
