Biggles and Littles is a much-loved tradition at St. Timothy’s that is still going strong. Even years after graduating eighth grade, STS alumni fondly remember the time they spent as a Little, and four years later, as a Biggle.
The Biggles and Littles program pairs a kindergartener with a fourth grader. Depending on how many students are in each grade, some groups have one or two Littles or multiple Biggles. Throughout the year, the kindergarteners and fourth graders meet to read, make crafts or just get to know one another.
To include distance learners in the experience and to keep everyone safe, Biggles and Littles are meeting virtually this year. Their first meeting was the day before Thanksgiving break and both Biggles and Littles had fun chatting about siblings, pets, favorite movies and hobbies.
We are thankful that we have the technology to continue this long-standing tradition even during a pandemic!
