STS Alumna to Speak at 2020 Graduation

With graduation for the Class of 2020 just three short months away, St. Timothy’s School is excited to announce that Haley McKeown ’09 will address our graduates.

After graduating from St. Timothy’s, Haley attended St. David’s School, where she was a member of the Varsity Cheerleading Team and Choir. Her senior year, she was appointed a Prefect, a position on the student leadership board.

In the fall of 2013, Haley started her freshman year at High Point University. There, she was elected Class of 2017 President, a position which she held for four years. Throughout her time at High Point, Haley was a member and president of Kappa Delta sorority, a volunteer for Career Services and a University Ambassador. Haley says, “During my four years, I was honored and humbled to be a part of so many great campus organizations that allowed me to get involved and represent my peers.”

Haley earned her bachelor’s in journalism with a minor in sport management in 2017 and returned to Raleigh to work for Wasserman, a sports marketing and talent management agency. While a part of the AT&T team, Haley assisted with strategy and measurement across a broad portfolio of sports, venues, gender equality and entertainment sponsorships. Currently, she is on the Wells Fargo team, supporting their sponsorship strategy and golf partnerships—specifically the Wells Fargo Championship held annually in Charlotte. She also co-manages the internship program, encouraging and mentoring students who are interested in the sports and entertainment industry.

Haley says, “I couldn’t be more excited to come back to where my education started at St. Timothy’s. As a member of St. Timothy’s Church since I was baptized, I can truly say my faith, values and knowledge are rooted in the lessons and experiences I had while a student. My time at St. Timothy’s built the foundation that enabled me to continue to pursue my educational, leadership and career aspirations to this day.”

We look forward to hearing from Haley in June!
