St. Timothy’s School is committed to high-quality instruction. We incorporate research-based best practices into our daily instruction to help all of our students succeed. We continue to focus on differentiated instruction within the classroom to meet the learning needs and styles of our students. In addition to differentiation in the classroom, St. Timothy’s School has Lower School and Middle School Learning Specialist available to support students, families, and teachers. Our learning specialists review academic data, including educational evaluations and standardized testing, and work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to monitor student performance in an effort to maximize academic potential. Instructional strategies and/or accommodations for students may be implemented on a case-by-case basis.
In Lower School, we are able to meet student needs through our small-group, individualized instruction within the regular classroom.
In Middle School, in order for accommodations to be considered for students, we require a current educational evaluation (within 3 years) that indicates academic need for support (below average scores) and evidence from the classroom that also supports the need for recommended accommodations.
