Eighteen Students Inducted into National Junior Honor Society

Eighteen eighth graders were recently inducted into the St. Timothy's School chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. 

The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) was established to recognize outstanding middle school students and serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.

The NJHS Chapter at St. Timothy's School was recently revamped to include an application process. Students who met the academic requirements were invited to apply for membership into the NJHS. The application challenged students to show understanding in the areas of service, leadership, character, and citizenship and to illustrate examples of these areas in their own lives, both at school and in the community.

Membership is only open to eighth graders. Congratulations to the following inductees:
