Lower School Science Fair Winners Recognized
Posted 02/06/2017 02:15PM

The Lower School Science Fair saw some changes this year thanks to our new Lower School science fair teacher, Megan Shank. Over 100 Lower School students participated in the Science Fair, and Mrs. Shank created an awards program meant to recognize the diverse talent of these participants.

“The goal of the Science Fair is for students to enjoy doing science, to take ownership over their findings, and to have fun!”, stated Mrs. Shank. Instead of being awarded for a “place” (e.g. 1st/2nd/3rd), this year Lower School students had the opportunity to earn a variety of awards (e.g. Most Creative Question, Best Data Display). An in-house team of teachers, faculty, and volunteer judges determined the award winners. A special ceremony for Lower School students was held to recognize all Science Fair participants and announce the special awards.

Congratulations to all the 2017 Science Fair participants!
