About St. Timothy's
At St. Timothy's School, strengths are valued, traditions are honored and successes are celebrated.
St. Timothy's School is an Episcopal, coeducational preparatory school serving grades Jr. K-8. The campus is located at the corner of Six Forks Road and Rowan Street in the North Hills/Mid-Town section of Raleigh, North Carolina. St. Timothy's was founded in 1958 by Father and Mrs. George B. S. Hale with the authorization of the vestry of St. Timothy's Church. Throughout its history of over five decades, St. Timothy's has remained committed to three principles established by Father Hale in the early years - small class sizes, strong academics and an Episcopal foundation. These principles, combined with the desire to stay current academically, have allowed St. Timothy's to remain a dynamic choice for parents in the Raleigh area for over 50 years.
